At the Sobat Foundation, we are committed to transparency, integrity, and accountability in all our operations, including the processing of donations from our generous supporters. We understand that there may be instances where you need to request a refund or cancel your donation. This policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for refunds and cancellations of donations made to the Sobat Foundation.


Refund Eligibility
  • Refunds will only be considered for donations that were made through our official website, donation portal, or authorized donation channels.
  • To be eligible for a refund, the donor must provide valid proof of the donation, such as a transaction receipt or acknowledgment.
  • Donations made for specific projects or campaigns that have been fully funded and completed are non-refundable.
  • Donations made in kind (e.g., donating goods or services) are non-refundable.
  • The donation cannot be refunded if the tax exemption certificate has already been issued.

Refund Process
  • To request a refund, the donor must contact our donor support team within 2 days of the donation date.
  • Donors can contact us via admin@sobatfoundation.org or phone at 8850121949, providing details of the donation and the reason for the refund request.
  • Our donor support team will review the request and may request additional information or documentation.
  • Upon approval, the refund will be processed within 7 days using the same payment method used for the original donation. The time it takes for the refund to be credited may vary depending on the payment provider.
  • The donor must return the original receipt to us at our office address if the donation receipt has already been issued.

Cancellation Confirmation

Upon receiving a request to cancel a donation, our team will send a confirmation email to the donor to verify the cancellation. It is the donor's responsibility to ensure that the cancellation request is successfully processed.
